This space was a remodeling of the existing Firestone building in Schenectady, New York and designed as a piece of the new Franklin Plaza. The space features three studio spaces, including a hot yoga studio, a personal training studio, and a fully equipped Pilates studio as well as spacious changing rooms. Studio4 occupies the entire second floor of Franklin Plaza.

The existing 1950’s "Starburst" skating rink was razed to make way for the new 29,000 square foot state of the art, energy efficient Gold's Gym. The new gym was constructed on the existing Starburst foundation and was completed in four months. The new facility consisted of: new high-efficiency windows, higher R-values than Code requirements, high-efficiency lighting with occupancy controls, advanced daylighting strategies, high-efficiency HVAC equipment with a digitally controlled building management system. Membership increased dramatically once the new facility was opened. The estimated cost of this project: $2,800,000. Completion date: April 2006

The building has since been remodeled to accommodate the new Vent Fitness.

This strip mall was renovated to accommodate Gold’s Gym. It has since been revamped and now operates as Vent Fitness.
